I attempted to take my family's picture yesterday with my camera and a tripod. Let me tell you, it's not easy to take your own family portrait. Anyhow, I attempted and the first shot was the best of the bunch. Thanks to my very talented sister for helping me edit it to look it's best.

Pumpkin Patch
What a beautiful fall day! The perfect day for the Pumpkin Patch. This is the second year in a row that we went to Keller's Farm. It is so nice that they are just minutes from our house. This year, our good friends joined us. We all had a great time. We took a hayride, found pumpkins in the patch, went through the corn maze, and even fed the baby animals.

SOOOO BIG!
Just a quick post about Spencer. I just can't get over how big he is getting. He really brings our family a lot of joy. This past weekend, he started doing "SO BIG." It is so cute.

On another note, after a very busy and fun-filled weekend, the boys have both come down with colds. AGAIN! Mason had a low grade fever yesterday, so I kept him home from school today. This is the third time the boys have been sick in the past month and a half. I kinda figured this is the way it would be when Mason started school. We'll get through it. I just hope the boys feel better soon. I hate when they are sick.

See that runny nose? Poor guy.

Mason's Party
We had a small party for Mason with just a few friends. He really likes the Planet Heroes, so it was a space themed party. We played a couple of games (Mars Digger~ the kids used shovels to dig in the sand to find Milky Ways, Lunar's Moon Bounce, and Star Shooter's Goal). Mommy was trying to be creative. The kids seemed to enjoy themselves. Mason enjoyed opening his gifts. His friends know him well and got him just what he wanted (more Planet Heroes and GeoTrax). Everyone also enjoyed the cake and ice cream. It was a fun afternoon. Enjoy the pictures (there is a slide show with more pictures from the party).

4 years ago today...
...Mason entered into this world.

He has been such a joy. He had a great day. We let him open his gifts first thing this morning so Daddy could watch. Later in the morning, Mason helped me make cupcakes. And then after the boys woke up from their naps, we went to Daddy's new branch before heading to Choo Choo Johnny's for dinner. It was a fun filled day.
He's having a little party with a few friends next Sunday. So look for more pictures to come then.

Another Family Photo Shoot

This past weekend, I had two family photo shoots. My friends were willing to be my guinea pigs. Thanks L* and E*. Well, on Sunday, I took photos for the D* family. I became good friend's with E* a couple of years ago, when my cousin introduced us. We have so much in common and really enjoy each others company. Our kids loving playing with each other too. Spencer and her youngest are only 9 days apart. What a blessing to have such great friends and so close. Anyhow, here are a few of the pictures from their session.
