Blueberry Picking

Our neighbor invited us to go blueberry picking on Wednesday. It was a lot of fun. This place was huge and packed. While we were there we saw one of Mason's friends from school. Actually, it was a little girl that has a huge crush on Mason. Her mom had a baby boy right after school was out and named him Mason. She said they just thought my Mason was the sweetest and fell in love with the name. Isn't that sweet:)

A Day at the Park

We have so many wonderful parks near us. The weather has been so nice and it's great to get the boys out. This past Saturday we went to the park near downtown Plainfield. The boys had a great time walking on the path and playing at the playground.

PHONE

Phone Phone Spencer loves the phone, any phone. If sees someone with a phone, he stalks them and asks, "PHONE?" Once he scores someone's phone, he'll call Daddy or Ms. Sara (2 of his most favorite people). You know you are loved by Spencer when he calls you on the PHONE. And if you would like to make his list of people he likes, let him play with your cell phone. If you've received a special phone call from Spencer, be sure to leave a comment. Or if you would like to put in a request for a special phone from Spencer, leave a comment.

Firecracker

We had a great 4th of July. It rained most of the day, but that didn't dampen our plans. We had our wonderful friends, Steve and Sara and their son, Lee over for ribs, corn-on-the-cob, watermelon, key lime pie, and strawberry shortcake. YUMMY! Afterwards, we had planned on going to Oswego's fireworks, but they decided to cancel them due to the weather (although by the time fireworks were to start it had cleared up some). Oh well, we went to Naperville and had a good time. The kids all really enjoyed the fireworks this year. We parked at the same location we did back on Mason's 1st 4th of July. It's just far enough that it is not so loud. Hope you all had a happy and safe Independence Day. God Bless America!
