Success!!!!!!!!!!!

WooHoo! You finally will take a bottle. I ended up poking 5 extra holes into the nipples and put breast milk in the bottle warmed up a tad. That's what you needed and today, you took not 1, but 3 bottles. You don't care for formula but who cares. I'm so happy that I don't have to worry about you if I need to run errands or do a photo shoot. I know you won't go hungry:) I am so very very proud of you.

3 month

I really can't believe that my baby girl is 3 months old. Seriously, where does the time go? This past month you started sleeping ALL night, like 12 hours straight some nights:) You also giggled for the first time tonight while I was getting you ready for bed. We got of the house more and enjoyed a few play dates with friends. You celebrated your first Valentine's. You also discovered your hands. You love to stare at them. I love to watch you discover new things. You continue to be a true blessing.

Blizzard 2011

Some call it "snowmadgeddon", some call it "snowpocalypse", and some just call it the blizzard of 2011. I call it A LOT of snow. I think we got ~16" of the white stuff when it was all said and done. Last night the winds howled and the thunder boomed and the lightning lit the sky. So cool:)

I must admit I felt kinda of like a kid, hoping for a "snow day" for Mason and for Tim (which they both got). Anxious to get outside to play with the boys and photograph this great storm that God presented to us. It was a fun day. A little back breaking for Tim (and myself) shoveling the 3 and 4 foot drifts of snow off of the driveway and deck, but still a lot of fun. Spencer, my awesome little helper, wanted to help shovel and Mason finally decided to go out and play after lunch and had fun digging a tunnel. I wish the temperature wasn't going to plummet because we really want to get back out and enjoy all this white stuff.

2 months old

We took Alexis for her 2 month well visit and she weighed in at 11lbs 4oz and was 22 1/2 inches long. She continues to be an awesome baby waking up just once a night (although last night was an exception being the roughest night since she was born ~up from 12:30 to 5:00:(
At 2 months old, she has rolled over from tummy to back (she doesn't like to be on
her tummy), she smiles in response to us all the time, she makes coo sounds, and loves to watch her brothers. She also loves to take long afternoon naps in her swing and play on the activity mat. She still gets swaddled when she sleeps and only stays awake for about an hour and 15 minutes to an hour and a half at a time. We finally got her take a bottle while Aunt Dawn and Kiara were visiting. She used to take one with formula and around 5 weeks decided heck no. Aunt Dawn brought a different bottle and I gave her breastmilk in it and she took it:) We hope she will start taking a bottle for Tim or Sara so that I can get back to work:)

What's missing?

Mason lost his 3rd tooth (his top left) on Sunday, January 9th. It had been loose for a very long time, but he really started wiggling it about a week ago. He was so excited when it finally fell out. The tooth fairy visited again and once again left him a gold dollar. I have a feeling that other top tooth will come out in the next few weeks. My big boy's smile is constantly changing. He's not going to look like a little boy anymore:( but he does continue to look more and more handsome every day:)

A couple more pictures for good measure.

Can't believe

Can't believe that it is 2011 already. Can't believe that my baby is over 6 weeks old. Can't believe Mason is half way through kindergarten. Can't believe that I just signed Spencer up for preschool for next fall. I don't know where the time goes, but I sure wish I could stop it just for a bit to enjoy each of these stages for a little longer.

Just a couple of pictures that I took before the little ones went down for naps while Mason was at school.
